Create Custom Pages
Use a feature called "pages" to allow you to easily create web pages. You could add an "about me" page with your biography, and a link to that page would be automatically added to your sidebar. You can even create an entire web site using pages on your blog, with a custom home page and your blog as one of the sub-pages.

You can export your blog and your content any time you wish. By using the "export" feature under "Manage" you can get a complete XML export of your posts and comments and more! You can also import your posts, comments, custom fields, pages, and categories easily by using the "import" feature.
